Back in 1982, in the midst of people-crushing martial law, a much younger Australian named Peter Wallace looked at the local Makati business community and said to himself, “there needs to be someone to “Tell It Like It Is””, so, he set his mind to it, and with that, the birth of the Wallace Business Forum (WBF).Over the past 35 years, Peter has built the Wallace Business Forum to serve the informational and advisory needs of the local business and diplomatic community, not only for local Philippine based businesses, but also for multinational companies and diplomatic embassies, by bringing together the private and public sector in addressing the economic and political issues of interest to the guiding lights of those individuals and organizations that have brought the Manila business community to the outstanding growth, exciting development and phenomenal success it has achieved over these past 35 years.
To celebrate this remarkable story and history, the Wallace Business Forum’s anniversary of 35 years of “We Tell It Like It Is”, we are arranging a very special event to mark this very special occasion. This event is not only planned as our celebration, and particularly of Peter, but in particular, yours. Many of you, have been with Peter, the Wallace Business Forum, and more importantly, the Manila business community through these years of incredible evolution of the world we live in today. This is not only our celebration, but yours as well. The Wallace Business Forum serves over 100 of the leading businesses in Manila. It is time to celebrate that which we all have achieved and look to the next 35 years of exciting evolution within our world.
To recognize this accomplishment, TheWallace Business Forum cordially invites you to a celebration cocktail party. The 35th year Celebration event will be held on February 20, 2018 at the Sky Garden of the prestigious The Zuellig Building, Makati Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas, starting at 6pm. Again, this will not only be a chance for Peter and the team of The Wallace Business Forum to thank you for giving us a chance to serve you over the past 35 years, but also for you to be able to celebrate with your peers in the community.
